PERSONAL ASSISTANT
KENNETHMONT
£12.49 PER HR
8am - 6pm. ( can be flexible )
Up to 40 hours per month including, 1 weekend per month, 2 other days per month that can be fitted to suit. Extra hours available to help cover any sickness or holiday cover .
I am looking to employ another personal assistant to join our team that is helping to care and aid in the stroke recovery for my wife. We live and work on a busy farm which means I am out most of the day. Following a severe stroke my wife is unable to care for herself and requires help and assistance to maintain her dignity and safety. Our wish is that she remains in her own home as this is where she is happiest and feels most secure.
I require personal assistants to assist with personal care, mobility and to help prepare meals and refreshments when required. Not essential, but should the candidate hold a drivers license, using our mobility vehicle we would require the candidate to take my wife to weekly appointments such as, physiotherapy, exercise classes , doctor appointments etc. These are beneficial to her well-being and recovery.
Prior to the stroke, my 56 year old wife led a very busy interactive life. Although she needs help, she still shares the same interests as before, such as baking, sewing, animals, family and general working life.
