PERSONAL ASSISTANT

11 hours per week
Days Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.
2 blocks of time 6 hours and 5 hours example 11am to 5pm or 11am to 4pm
We can be flexible with times and any changes by mutual agreement
Moving and Handling training will be provided by the employer.
I am the full-time carer for my son who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
I would like to employ a personal assistant who could support my son, to enable my husband and myself some respite time together.
The position would involve some personal care, providing refreshments and companionship.
My son is 20 years old , sociable, friendly , knowledgeable and approachable.
He does have a variety of interests and hobbies plus his college course.
Therefore, he doesn’t require the individual to be with him every minute as he may have college work to do, gaming with his friends or having some down time.
He is fully dependent on carers due to his condition.
All training will be provided and PVG membership may be required.
