Mon 9.00am – 4.00pm
Tuesday 8.00am – 2.00pm
These hours can be up for discussion and may change by mutual agreement to suit appointments and commitments.

Finlay is 19 years old. He’s got an immense personality, and a lust for living life to the full. He is intelligent, has a great sense of humour, and thrives when surrounded by friends and family. Throughout the week he keeps himself busy socialising through various groups, and volunteering with SHMU radio and AFCCT. He loves nothing more than getting out and about and chatting to anyone who will listen!
We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant (PA) to join our small team to give Finlay the independence and support he deserves.
Finlay is looking for someone who is warm and friendly, has some get up and go, a good sense of humour and is willing to think outside the box at times! As a family, we need Finlay’s team to be reliable, trustworthy, person centred, a good timekeeper, have an element of flexibility and be motivated to support Finlay’s freedom and independent living within the family home. He is a full-time wheelchair user who requires support for all aspects of his day. The role involves driving his wheelchair accessible van, personal care, moving and handling, and helping keep his personal space in the family home clean and tidy. As his PA, you would be supporting him in his day to day routine, supporting some elements of physiotherapy and ensuring he is safe and included in various settings.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Clean UK driving licence
· Over 25 (for Motability insurance requirements)
· PVG membership
· Moving and handling training - this can be provided to the successful candidate
· Dog lover - we have a friendly family dog
