PERSONAL ASSISTANT / BEFRIENDER

5 hours per week
I am a 12‑year‑old boy with Autism and ADHD, and I’m looking for a befriender who can spend time with me either out in the community or at home and support me with routines and activities. I need someone patient who can help me build a trusting relationship at my pace. I’m very inquisitive and intelligent, and I love Lego, video games, and learning interesting facts — especially about sharks and the Titanic, which are my favourite topics right now.
My mum and dad say I’m kind and have a lovely nature. I enjoy jokes and have a great sense of humour. Sometimes I find it hard to regulate my emotions and can become overwhelmed. When that happens, I need someone who can offer clear boundaries, calm guidance, reassurance, and nurturing support.
I enjoy watching TV, laughing at funny online clips, walking along the beach, and having fish and chips or ice cream.
