Times and days flexible, however during term time hours must be after school or at weekends
We are looking for an active, creative and fun individual to support our 6-year-old daughter.
She loves arts and crafts, imaginative play, active play (play park) – and anything to do with giraffes. We are looking for someone who enjoys getting involved and can bring energy, enthusiasm and creativity to play sessions.
Our daughter has additional support needs and can take time to build trust with new people. She thrives with patient, understanding adults who can help her feel safe, build confidence and engage with her through play and shared interests.
No personal care is required. We are looking for a reliable and confident befriender who can build a positive, trusting relationship over time. Initially, visits will take place alongside parents until she feels comfortable and secure. She can find transitions between people difficult, so consistency is important.
A full driving licence would be preferred to allow for outings and community activities. Use of a vehicle can be discussed at interview.
Experience working with children would be beneficial, although a caring, enthusiastic attitude is equally important.
PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) and a full driving licence will be required
