4 hours per week to be worked after school or over weekend
A family are looking for a fun, energetic and reliable individual to provide social support and companionship to a teenage boy.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of neurodiversity and be able to build a positive, trusting relationship while supporting the young person to engage in activities that match his interests.
About the Young Person
This young boy enjoys being active and spending time outdoors. His favourite activities include:
Visiting the park
Trips to the beach
Riding his bike
Going swimming
Watching trains and train spotting
About the Role
The successful candidate will:
Provide one-to-one companionship and support
Encourage participation in enjoyable and meaningful activities
Be active, enthusiastic and engaging
Support positive social experiences and confidence building
Ensure the young person's safety and wellbeing during outings
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a young person's life while helping him enjoy the activities he loves and explore new experiences.
Driving license is preferred, mileage included.
Training will be provided for successful applicant.
PVG will be required for successful applicant and two references will be required for this post.
